LOS PREMIOS VUELVEN A ACUSAR UN EXAGERADO ACENTO "YANKEE"
La sexagésima octava edición de los Premios Emmys se ha llevado a cabo en el transcurso de esta madrugada en el Microsoft Theater en Downtown Los Angeles, California.
Un año más, los galardones no reflejan la realidad seriéfila que vivimos a nivel global, y los premios vuelven a acusar un marcado acento "Made in USA".
Los premios a 'Veep' (mejor comedia, mejor actriz cómica...) y 'American Crime Story' (mejor miniserie, actor de reparto...) o 'Saturday Nithg Live', son el gran reflejo de este excesivo "aroma yankee", premiando de forma exageradamente localista a aquellas series que retratan o satirizan hechos históricos, actuales o pasados, de los Estados Unidos.
'Juego de Tronos' se ha hecho con el galardón a mejor serie dramática, y sigue reforzando su posición de serie más galardonada de la Historia de la televisión.
Entre el resto de premiados, queremos destacar los premios que se han llevado 'The Americans', 'Orphan Black', 'Mr. Robot', 'Ray Donovan', 'American Crime' y 'Transparent', que le dan un poco más de fiel reflejo al momento seriéfilo que vivimos. Aún así, insuficiente, y con muchas buenas series olvidadas.
La única serie británica que se alza con un premio importante es 'Sherlock', por su capítulo especial 'La novia abominable', que CEC Series recomendó hasta la saciedad.
A continuación, la lista de series ganadoras en los Premios Emmy 2016 que, un año más, siguen sin motivarnos lo más mínimo...
